Too Much Congruence?

I've heard that you can be too congruent, which might be too much for people to absorb. Like, too much energy flowing through them. Maybe it comes off too close to perfection and inhuman/stereotype/cliche. Do you think bit of incongruence is natural and desirable? I would assume so because I think congruence is a concept anyway, and it's a matter of degrees of congruence.
