| Limiting Belief - "I Can't Help People Who Don't Want to Be Helped" I have a limiting belief of "I can't help people who don't want to be helped." I'd like to deconstruct that belief so that I'm no longer limited by it and have complete freedom to help everyone regardless of their own limitations.
So I'd asked this question of Jamie Smart on his new blog about limiting beliefs and he offered me an answer (in his phone training call) of "If they don't want to be helped, leave them alone." Which is, essentially, a restatement of my limiting belief... (I did appreciate his offer of an answer, though.)
Fortunately, while I was listening to the training call (before Jamie got to the part about my question), I came up with a really helpful way to destroy that limiting belief. I can help people who don't (consciously) want to be helped by taking excellent care of myself and acting as a role model for them to see what might be possible for their own life.
I'm wondering if anyone else has/had this limiting belief and what other deconstructions you've got for freeing yourself from it's limitations.
How would you finish the following thought?
I can help people who don't want to be helped by...
Peace, Love, and Bicycles,
